User Node Configuration

When you select a User step (Blank User Step, Form, or Illustration), the right panel shows tabs for General, Layout, Form, and Calc Engine.

General

  • Label — Display name of the step (editable).
  • User type — Usually Agent or Client, depending on who sees this step in the agent app.

Layout

  • Layout builder — Define the screen layout: rows, columns, and elements (text, images, form placeholder, buttons, etc.). You can add rows/columns, drag elements, and open the layout builder for full editing.
  • Layout preview — Preview the layout with test data if available.

Form

  • Form builder — Add or edit the form for this step: tabs, sections, and fields (text, number, dropdown, radio, checkbox, date, etc.). Configure validation, display conditions, and layout per field.
  • Form preview — Preview the form and test with different values.

Calc Engine

  • Calc engine — If this step includes calculations (e.g., Illustration), configure variables, output matrices, output variables, and test data. You can open the full Formula Builder from here.
